Sheikh Fazle Abbas, Imam at Al Mahdi centre, came to assembly on Monday 11th March and spoke to us about him being a Muslim and about showing kindness.
We then thought about how we can show kindness to others here at Brockhurst Primary school, with our families and our local community.
‘We can listen more to others’. Lucas
‘Help people if they hurt themselves in the playground’.
‘Saying a compliment to others’. Scarlett
‘Showing new class friends around’. Chloe
‘Open the door to help others’. Tomasz
‘If there is rubbish on the floor, pick it up and put it in the bin’. Leyla
Show respect to our class and school.
‘Saying kind words and being respectful’. Natalie
‘If something falls on the floor pick it up even if you haven’t dropped it-like a pencil or a piece of paper’. Imogen
Be kind to everyone.
'As always it is my great pleasure to come to the school and meet the children for the assembly.
Thank you for this opportunity.' - Sheikh Fazle Abbas
