Throughout December our Kids Of Heroes have been busy with their Christmas craft from making calendars to cards for their friends and family.
We were recently given crosses by the Royal British Legion to decorate and return back, so they could plant them in the Field Of Remembrance on 9th November in Lydiand Park near Royal Wotton Bassett.
Messages of thank you and remembrance were written on the crosses by some of our service children.
Kids of Heroes is a school club for children with parents in the armed forces. The club was named by the current children after discussions with each other. The children meet every other Friday for an hour and take part in craft sessions, talk about emotions and enjoy spending time with their friends who are in the same situation as them.
Thank you to the parents/carers who sent in photos of their children with their serving mum/dad to put up on our Kids of Heroes wall at both North and South Campus. If you haven’t brought a photo in but would still like to, please drop them into either campus.
During May and early June, the children have been working hard preparing their summer party. This party will commence at 15:00 on Saturday 7 thJuly for 3 hours. The party will be held at St Vincent College – Jervis Gallery.
Entry by ticket only! If you have not returned your reply slip but still want to attend, you will need to hand the slip back to school in exchange for a ticket to the party.
