Friday 23rd March
What fabulous learning the Year 2 children have done this week.
Having finished their story writing based on "where the wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak we have created a class book of Max's Adventures, look out for it during the learning hunt on Tues.
We took full advantage of the lovely sunny weather to do PE outside where we learnt throwing, catching and aiming skills with bats and balls. We also enjoyed using the apparatus to continue our lessons on travelling at different levels ( high and low) and balancing.
Well done to the following Seagulls for amazing robot word progress between
September and December 2017!!
Learning over 5 cards (30+ new words!):
Luke T, Macie, Lottie, Luke M, Riley, Lanna, Immy and Michael.
Learning over 10 cards (60+ new words!!):

WOW - over a year's progress in your spellings!!!!
All of you (and your parents) should be very proud. We're very proud of you and the confident writers that you're becoming using these spellings.
Mrs Tatem and Mrs Paskins :-)
A huge congratulations to all of the parents and children who worked so hard on holiday reading over Christmas. Mrs Paskins and Mrs Tatem were amazed at how many children had finished all of their extra books and needed to change them today. Keep up the good work and Happy 2018! :-)
We had to follow instructions to make dinosaur cookies. After we have baked our cookies we will be writing instructions to show how we made them. We can take our cookies home and then eat them. YUM YUM YUM.
