Bringing fun to learning
The Hummingbirds read the story 'The ghastly cake'. We did loads of exciting writing about the different disgusting ingredients that Ruffus used.
The children then made their own ghastly cakes. We added the crushed bones of 100 frogs, the blood from 1000 snails, bogey bits and the shaved hair from 30 giants.
(Don't worry mums and dads it was all edible foods).
The children had great fun. Take a look at their reactions!!

Do you know your number bonds to 5, 6 or 7? Does anyone know them all the way to 10?
Well done to Leila, Oliver Hayes, and Oscar who needs to be congratulated for learning their number bonds to 10 off by heart. Keep going Jenson and Riley who are nearly there with their number bonds to 10. Keep up the great home learning.
