Welcome to a new term!
I hope that everyone had a good Christmas and are looking forward to lots of exciting opportunities for learning in the Spring term.
Our topic is all about SPACE! I am sure that you can find out many interesting things about space while at home. Research the internet, watch any TV programmes about space or visit Gosport library to look at (and borrow) their books on the subject.
I look forward to seeing and hearing about anything extra you can find out!

Fishbourne Roman Palace
Thank you to all those that have returned the permission slips and funds regarding next week's trip. Without your support, these experiences would not be possible. We look forward to receiving the final few on Monday.

Sing and Sign
A massive well done to the girls from year 5 that signed to the song 'Song of gratitude' at today's harvest assembly. You were amazing!
This week year 5 completed a series of outstanding lessons on bikes.
First we were taught to do our ABCD check, A-air, B-brakes, C-control and chain and finally D-dangly bits. Then we had to check if we had the right uniform: like helmets, high-vis jackets and much more.
For our first lesson, we went on the playground and were assessed on our basic skills. The consequence days were spent on the road and we had to do ‘lol’, which means ‘lots of looking’. We have thoroughly enjoyed the week and now feel more confident cycling out on the roads.By Samuel and Casey (yr 5)
Well done to Niamh, Albie, Stanley, Naeesha, Logan, Rhys and Billy who all passed their times tables challenge today and are now onto the next set.
Well done to Skye who passed her times tables challenge today and is now onto the next set.
